Naar aanleiding van Wereld Reuma Dag organiseert EULAR, de Europese alliantie van verenigingen in de reumatologie, op woensdag 15 oktober om 16u een webinar met verschillende sprekers rond het thema 'Jaag je dromen na'.

To highlight World Arthritis Day 2025, EULAR organises a dedicated WAD Webinar on the inspiring theme, “Achieve Your Dreams!”. This webinar brings together key stakeholders from across our community and will explore how we can all better understand and support people with lived experience of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) to achieve their personal goals and dreams.
Webinar Focus & Objectives:
- Empower people with lived experience of RMDs by offering guidance on how to prepare for consultations, express their needs clearly, and engage in effective self-management.
- Explore how healthcare professionals listen to and support the dreams and challenges of people living with RMDs.
- Highlight key advocacy priorities, for example the need for longer consultation times, improved training for healthcare professionals, and more patient-centred care structures.
- Promote mutual understanding and open, empathetic communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
